HBO Plus Latinamérica

HBO Latin America is a company which owns several cable networks in the region of Latin America. It is a joint venture between WarnerMedia and Ole Communications. In Latin America, the channels owned by WarnerMedia are broadcast by two different subsidiaries, Turner Broadcasting System Latin America (who broadcasts TNT, CNN International, CNN en Español, truTV, Cartoon Network, Chilevisión and other sister channels) and HBO Latin America Group, which broadcasts other related channels.

HBO Latin America Group owns and operates these channels (most of those are simulcast in HD):

  • HBO Latin America (Formerly known as HBO Ole) / HBO Brazil (Brazil)
  • HBO2 Latin America
  • HBO Plus (West/East)
  • HBO Family
  • HBO Signature
  • Cinemax Latin America (Since 2009 as an ad-supported basic cable network)
  • Max
  • Max UP
  • Max Prime (West/East)

HBO Latin America Group distributes these channels:
Owned by A+E Networks Latin America (co-owned by A+E Networks and Ole Communications):

  • History Latin America
  • H2 Latin America (started in July 2014 to replace the Bio.)
  • A&E Latin America
  • Lifetime Latin America (started in June 2014 to replace Sony Spin)

NBCUniversal International Networks Latin America:

  • E! Latin America (owned by Comcast/NBCUniversal and Ole Communications)
  • Telemundo Internacional (owned by Comcast/NBCUniversal and Ole Communications except in Mexico, where the channel is distributed by Televisa Networks)
  • Universal Channel (except in Brazil, where the channel is operated by a 50/50 joint venture between NBCU and Globosat and distributed by Globosat)
  • Studio Universal (except in Brazil, where the channel is operated by a 50/50 joint venture between NBCU and Globosat and distributed by Globosat)
  • Syfy (except in Brazil, where the channel is operated by a 50/50 joint venture between NBCU and Globosat and distributed by Globosat)
  • Euronews (except in Brazil, where the channelis operated by a 50/50 joint venture between NBCU and Globosat and distributed by Globosat)
